WHAT A #28DAYGUTCLEANSE CAN DO TO YOU



If you've been following me on Instagram you would have known that I was doing a #28daygutcleanse for the past month. The reason I wanted to embark on such a thing was because the way we are taught at college to heal a leaky gut, can be quite a lengthy process, and I wondered if clients would really see and feel tangible results soon enough to want to continue with these sometimes restricted (and long) eating plans. It was upon reading about another process, essentially the same, but done in 28 days, I had to try it for myself - that and still feeling gut symptoms myself, I wanted to clear this all up.

First up, I'll stick my hand up for a greater appreciation of our individual bodies, and as a collective. There are far too many trashy mags these days with "she's too fat" and "she's too skinny" on the covers, misleading females everywhere as to what's even healthy these days.

Having said that, even when we do have a gorgeous acceptance and love of our body, there are times when we may have let our healthy eating habits slide, work and study has taken over our lives, illness has been present, or something else that may have led a few kg's to creep on up, and for whatever reason now, you might be struggling to knock em back off.

Creativity - without it I think we'd all be dead. Or at least close too. Whether it's painting, dancing, blogging, designing, creating, visualising, or dreaming up far away places... we all do it daily I'm sure.
But have you ever given thought to getting creative with your food? I'm sure some of you have. This is where I see the most distance between someone who eats well, shops for local produce with excitement, flips through recipe books for inspiration, and conjures up new dishes with love and enthusiasm... versus someone who doesn't. The latter person may eat much more take away, or simply PB on toast most nights, if they can be bothered with that.

I often get asked what exactly I eat in a day. I understand why - I used to want to know every little morsel other health practitioners put into their mouths as well. If they ate it surely it would be amazing for me too. Well, no, not always. But nonetheless, I am letting you in on what my day on a plate looks like, but as with everyone who asks, I maintain the suggestion that this is just that - a suggestive dietary plan. Try it or don't, but feel and notice what works for you.

I wanted to write a post on being Inspired by Love. What I am currently being really inspired by and in the hopes of inspiring you some how.

It was only yesterday morning that I wasn't feeling a great sense of inspiration and it was hindering me from writing blog posts. I was flipping through nutrition books, magazines, blogs online... all in the hope of finding something, some little gem, that would spark an Aha moment and my typing would be well under way, with an awesome headliner to boot. The more I explored the less I found.
