VALENTINES SPECIAL: 4 RECIPES TO MELT YOUR HEART

If you hadn't already clued on, yep, it's Valentines Day tomorrow. Whether you believe/participate/love or hate it, I see it as an excuse to eat more chocolate than usual and snuggle up on the couch with a good movie and my gorgeous man. Go all out or not at all... we can all have a little more chocolate in our lives now can't we? And after this post stating chocolate can actually help with weight loss... why not?

I got busy in the kitchen experimenting with a few recipes this week, but I have to say, the simplest, easiest one with the least amount of ingredients is still hands down the winner.

1-2-3 Recipe
5 Tbsp cacao powder
5 Tbsp coconut oil
2 Tbsp coconut flower nectar

Combine well, pour in moulds, chill and eat!

Sugar-Free Recipe
3 Tbsp cacao butter (melted)
2 Tbsp coconut oil
5 Tbsp cacao powder
1 drop stevia liquid (I used English Toffee flavour)

Combine gently, pour into moulds, chill til firm.

Superfood Choc-Crunch
5 Tbsp cacao butter (melted)
3 Tbsp coconut oil
6 Tbsp cacao powder
1 Tbsp lucuma
1/2 tsp maca
1/2 tsp pau d'arco
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp coconut flower nectar
2 drops stevia
1 Tbsp bee pollen
2 Tbsp cacao nibs

Combine the first three ingredients in a bowl and combine gently, then add the rest and stir slowly. Pour into moulds and chill til firm.

White Almond Chocolate
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 Tbsp creamed coconut
2 Tbsp cacao butter
1/2 Tbsp coconut flower nectar
pinch of salt

Gently melt all these ingredients together over a very low heat, whisking slowly. Pour in moulds and chill til firm.

Cacao - high in antioxidants - magnesium rich - full of love inducing chemicals
Coconut oil - immune support - weight loss aid - anti fungal
Maca - great hormone balancer - helps adapt to stress - libido enhancer
Vanilla - aphrodisiac - romantic
Almond butter - high in magnesium to ease tension
