OUR EPIC SUMMER ROAD TRIP (SO FAR)

It was only a few months ago that I felt strong urges to start putting some of our stuff away into boxes. But my logic mind was going bonkas - I mean, why put things into boxes when you're still living in your home? In your house? With no plans to go anywhere?

But I couldn't stop it completely, and so I began putting things into boxes. And to cut the story short, it was not long after that I said to B "baby let's go away for 2 or 3 months over Xmas" - when we have previously left Cairns for only 3-4 weeks. It just felt right. I wanted to get out. Get away. For longer than usual. And that meant having someone look after our place. And so, having some of our stuff packed away for said house-sitters, would be fab!

Fast forward to now and we've been on the road since December 7th and won't be back in Cairns til the first week of Feb (ish).

Whenever B and I road trip, googling "organic cafes" in the area we're about to get too is usually top of our list. Followed by "organic coffee". And so, road trips are one of our favourite things to do.

Travel + new organic cafes + market hopping + adventures + friends and family... What's not to love?

So here are a few cheeky snaps of where we've been so far...

The first sunset of our road trip where we camped on a beach and woke up to this. Sunshine Coast crystal clear water. Mt Coolum Summit. And epic smoothies at New Earth Cafe, Coolum.

A visit to a mentor gorgeous property in Cooroy, Xmas swims with my man, silly fish-eye selfies (looks like we're in a xmas bauble) and the real tree at mums place.

XMAS LUNCHES!! And our traditional French Xmas cake ~ Buche de Noel. My mum actually made this one from scratch! And it was the best ever!

The view on waking from our van slumber at Burleigh Heads ~ luxe. Organic coconut iced mochas in Burleigh. The BEST raw cake I've ever eaten (twice now) from Brunswick Heads Health Shop (locally made too). And NYD 6am with my love watching the sun rise at Brunswick (it was freezing!)

EPIC EATS with our friends Mason Taylor and his girl in Newcastle. BONDI BEACH summer heaven. And picking up our Orchard Street cleanse!!

Mid-3hr-hike in Tilba Tilba, NSW. OUR SEXY VAN! And my succulents in the front keeping me happy. And lastly, that's me, with my granola in a re0used juice jar, with banana... That was brekkie one morning at the Lakes Entrance, VIC.

Catch ups with the Paleo Cafe Mornington babes. Our first Combi, Elwood experience... oh my! St Kilda sunsets. And our daily morning movements!

A brilliant brekkie of granola, cacao powder, nut butter, coconut oil and rice milk. St Kilda walks. Monkeying around. And COMBI smoothies in Elwood!!

So there you go... that is OUR EPIC ADVENTURE so far!

It's been a BLAST and we're not done yet! Stay watching over on Instagram.
